The Anti Mandatory Mail Order Bill (A.M.M.O) has been signed into Law!
I am delighted to officially report that Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) signed our long awaited Anti-Mandatory Mail Order legislation (A.5502-B) into law Monday evening. Despite an onslaught of misleading advertising and many major city newspaper editorials calling for a veto, clearly because of their advertising revenue ties to managed care who also opposed our legislation, our Governor followed the wishes of the tens of thousands of NY consumers who expressed their desire to 'choose' their pharmacist and their pharmacy.

Welcome to the new web site for the Pharmacy Society of Rochester. We hope to provide listings of upcoming events for our Society including CE programs and other social activities.
The Pharmacy Society of Rochester is an affiliate of the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York. We represent the Pharmacists of Monroe and the five counties surrounding Monroe county including Cayuga, Livingston, Ontario, Seneca and Yates.
One of our goals is to provide a minimum of 10 live , 2 contact hour, CE programs per year.
Interested in joining? - Click on the Links tab above and then click on the Membership Application Link and print out a membership form, fill it out and bring the form and your check to the next scheduled CE program and you will be able to attend for the members rate. It's as simple as that.
