Important Announcement

Dear PSR Members,

After having our Medicaid/Epic reimbursement cut for the 12th year in a row (NYS now ranks last), PSSNY has decided to change tactics. For years we have used traditional lobbing efforts to achieve our goals only to see those efforts ignored. Now PSSNY will launch a media campaign to the general public explaining how we have been treated for years by the NYS Legislature. The goal will be to have public opinion make it so uncomfortable for our politicians that they restore our funding. To that end PSSNY has contracted with Mercury Public Affairs and they will start a focused campaign immediately. We feel this campaign is necessary for our long term survival, but it will not be inexpensive. PSR is asking our membership (now 2nd largest in NYS) to help fund this campaign by making a $50 donation. PSR members, in recognition of each $50 donation you make the next CE/Dinner you attend will be totally free. You can make your donation to PSR with a memo to the “Media Campaign” and bring it to our next CE or mail it to Pharmacy Society of Rochester, Attn: Cyrus Kloner, Treasurer, 20 Paige Street, Rochester, NY 14619. Welcome to the new web site for the Pharmacy Society of Rochester. We hope to provide listings of upcoming events for our Society including CE programs and other social activities.

 

 

 

The Pharmacy Society of Rochester is an affiliate of the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York. We represent the Pharmacists of Monroe and the five counties surrounding Monroe county including Cayuga, Livingston, Ontario, Seneca and Yates.

 

 

One of our goals is to provide a minimum of 10 live , 2 contact hour, CE programs per year.

 

 

 

Interested in joining? - Click on the Links tab above and then click on the Membership Application Link and print out a membership form, fill it out and bring the form and your check to he next scheduled CE program and you will be able to attend for the members rate. It's as simple as that.
